globeAn Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line, or DSL, is a system in which an existing telephone line is configured to, in a much higher download rate of Dial-up Internet speeds. Basically, the installation of equipment as a ribbon, allows access for connection to download the packet of information at high speeds. It is important to note that only one ADSL faster for data transfer in one direction, namely at the downloading. That is why ADSL connections are asymmetrical. What this means is that users of information at higher speeds, but can download information in a normal speed remote access.
