I own 2 boats courtesy of my dad. His boats have passed on to me when he decided to retire from his fishing business, but a sad part about that is that we live so far from the sea or anything that we only get to use the boats during vacations or such. I decided to sell off one of the boats and retain just one but my wife convinced me to donate my boat as she was a charity person who loved helping others so I think it was a good legacy for us to have one of the boats go to these charity for better purposes.. After searching for a good boat donation charity, we ended up in boatangel.org, a good boat donations site which had exactly what we had in mind and after some paperworks,finally my boat will sail the seas again as part of a mercy ship line to help other people.
